I have learnt so many things related to technology thanks to my technologies applied teacher, but last week was amazing because my group didn't have tasks to do with Teacher Victor montejo, so after being very busy with his homeworks I can say that I really enjoyed my previous weekend

Bloom’s Taxonomy

Bloom’s Taxonomy can be understood as “The Goals of the Learning Process”. This means that after a process of learning, students must have acquired new skills and knowledge.
Before we can understand a concept we must have to remember it
Before we can apply the concept we must understand it
Before we analyze it we must be able to apply it
Before we can evaluate its impact we must have analyzed it
Before we can create we must have rememberedunderstood, appliedanalyzed,and evaluated.
What a better task to get the thinking skills involved at all the levels of the taxonomy as the creation of this post.
Rewriting the activity I would categorize it as followed:
Activity: Post onto your blog a reflection of Bloom’s Taxonomy.
  1. 1.     - Recalling: Searching or googling about Bloom’s Taxonomy. Highlight key words. Bookmarking (marking web sites, resources and files)
  2. 2.     Understanding: Organizing and classifying files, web sites and materials using folders, etc. Summarizing, classifying and comparing information about Taxonomy.
  3. 3.     Applying: Blog editing, create and upload mind maps and graphics. Make a wordle with Bloom’s Taxonomy concepts.
  4. 4.     Analyzing: Compare the original taxonomy with its two updates,, structure and integrate the new post.
  5. 5.     Evaluating: Redraft a personal reflections about Bloom’s Taxonomy ( check, review and post as a draft)
  6. 6.     Creating:  Publishing Bloom’s Taxonomy Reflection as a new post on your blog space. Final Blogging.

LIST OF TOOLS

Here is my list of tools that I consider more important than others to help facilitate face to face the virtual learning.

BOOKMARK

I visited these links www.nasa.gov/.../flash

http://www.free-books.org/ and I would say that they´re very interesting because you can learn , develop and improve the 4 skills of English.

The first link has many dynamic activities that could be useful in a future and I think not only kids can have some fun but also people from all ages.

I really liked free book because it is a link in which you can get better your listening skills and at the same time improve your pronunciation.

 NICE PROJECT AND "VIRTUAL WORLDS"

After reading The NICE project and surfing through the web, I found
that exists many different ways to teach our students a new language, virtual worlds seem to be a perfect way to encourage them to keep learning a different language because it´s a mix of technology, information and educational things in order to help the students to have more success at the moment of learning.

Besides it goes further with the "traditional teaching-learning process". These virtual worlds make that the students get enthusiastic, and probably they are more interested in learning.

With these tools I think is possible to teach english and
I would implement these websites ("Virtual Worlds") in order to improve the four skills of english.

TASK  # 4                   Write a blog entry

  From my point of view I think technology has been increasing rapidly.
in part I think it has a significant effect on the way many people live, work, etc. this is a big step to have better opportunities not only in the learning process but also modifies our lifestyle.
I mean, with this new technological era you can do many things without a lot of effort, for example:

You can study in the day or in the nigh, you can have access to many websites to get information about whatever you want.
This technology also allows you to be connected with many people all around the world and share videos, music, pictures, both can learn about the culture.

With this new kind of work students are encouraged to regard computers as tools to be used in all aspects of their studies.

Cultural Diversity In Education In México

Nowadays Education in mexico has changed because many years ago few people used to have the chance to be in a school because families did not have enough money to send their children to the schools.

Life in  Mexico is difficult in part because of the lack of access to public services, including the same educational opportunities that a student may find in some areas. At the same time, it may be argued that life is less stressful than in urban areas. The child lives, studies, works, and plays in an environment where he or she is constantly surrounded by a large, extended family and people known by the child. Time may not be measured by clocks. Dietary habits, including the use of utensils, are not the same as for city dwellers. People from rural areas in Mexico are sometimes ridiculed by people from larger towns or cities, who may laugh at their speech, clothing, or mannerisms. (Mary Faith Mount)

What is copyright

Copyright is a law that gives you ownership over the things you create. Be it a painting, a photograph, a poem or a novel, if you created it, you own it and it’s the copyright law itself that assures that ownership. The ownership that copyright law grants comes with several rights that you, as the owner, have exclusively. Those rights include:

    * The right to reproduce the work.

    * to prepare derivative works.

    * to distribute copies.

    * to perform the work.

What is fair use?

A fair use is any copyright of copyrighted material done for a limited and transformative purpose, such as education, to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work.

Such uses can be done without permission from the copyright owner.

In other words, fair use is a defense against a claim of copyright infringement. If your use qualifies as a fair use, then it would not be considered an illegal infringement.
